Personal Projects
For our senior design project we designed a pair of translating glasses. These glasses used a transparent OLED and a microphone to capture speech in a language, translate it via a remote server, and then receive and display the translated text onto the screen. The device could translate any langauge to any language with extra configuration.
We ended up receiving an award for the device as seen here: https://engineering.purdue.edu/ECE/News/2025/celebrating-excellence-purdue-ece-honors-outstanding-undergraduates

A hobby of mine is self hosting a variety of services on my linux machines. Currently this website is running on HAL1 (my dell Precision 5820 tower). I have my own domain (you’re on it) and use Cloudfare for DNS. Currently I am running the following services:
- Jellyfin (for both media and audio books)
- Nextcloud (for syncing files between all my devices)
- Pihole (for DNS add blocking)
- WordPress (for hosting this website)
- Immich [OFFLINE] – for easy sharing of photos
Nextcloud is nice since it is compatible with windows, linux, and IOS+MACOS. Additionally, I use the Plapa app to listen to audiobooks hosted on my jellyfin library. Below I have listed a few of my guides you can take a look at. (NOTE THEY ARE AI GENERATED FOR EASY DOCUMENTATION)
